FAITH TO BELIEVE

It was Thursday again. As usual my Lifegroup gathered to go out for Campus Evangelism. It has really been some time since we last saw a salvation through Campus Evangelism. In my heart, I was just thinking maybe I will just be an obedient child of God to go out to share His love, and hopefully someone will be blessed by it. I did not expect that we would actually see a salvation.

I got to partner with a brother who has just came into our Church this semester. It was just his second time doing evangelism in campus. I was really amazed at his faith. He did not allow himself to operate within his comfort zone like I did, he started sharing the Gospel and eventually led our new friend to Christ.Through this event, not only did we see someone saved, I was awakened from my faithlessness. While I only expected someone to be blessed, this brother expected someone to be saved. I have limited God with my expectation.

Now, I am challenged and am constantly reminding myself to expect bigger things from God for nothing is impossible with God. Let us not operate within our comfort zone but let us step out in faith to let God operate through us.
