I was once a young believer that knew nothing about evangelism. After being invited by a church brother to join his campus evangelism group, as well as receiving an email with serious impartation on evangelism from my shepherd, I decided to have a try on it. Ever since then, I continue doing evangelism in the campus faithfully. Till this day, it has been one and a half year.
In this year and a half of my weekly campus evangelism life, I have felt so blessed. God did not just use me to bless the people that I met and talked to, but He used them to bless me and made my day! Many times after I talked to someone, I felt so joyful!! Even if the person was not really ready for God yet.
Soon I realized the principle behind it - - > When we do God’s work and live according to His will, we will feel so satisfied even though it’s just a small chat!!
Another blessing that I got from evangelism is that my faith in God was deepened more and more as I shared with people about God. Many times I was able to testify to God’s faithfulness and goodness through what He was doing in those people’s hearts and lives! I’m so happy that I have had the chance to see God’s power moving time and time again.
There were of course many more blessings that God has given to me as I seek first His kingdom and righteousness and walk according to His will and purpose!
Dear brothers and sisters, take a step of faith to share God’s good news, His Gospel! Try applying these two Scriptures that I have testified!! :> Try it! Experience it! God will not overlook what we do for Him!
